Leaving her on the cliffs???

What the f*ck, seriously?

Your friend/your girlfriend takes suddenly and unexpectedly ill and you wait until she falls asleep out on a hillside then just leave her there alone while you go off and do fun stuff?

How did she not go mental and tell them both to go to hell right after that display of utterly uncaring and actual criminally negligent behaviour?

Sure she's in love with him but she's not stupid, she'd know that means he doesn't give one single solitary f*ck about her.

This movie's name caught my eye. I have not seen it, nor do I have
any idea what it is about, but your comment is very interesting.

I think it would be very difficult, or rather more difficult today to grow
up or exist in society than it has ever been before.

People are told so many conflicting things, and their confidence is
undermined, not to mention movies and media give mixed messages.

I can see someone ignoring the very logical conclusion you made ...
it is the same as why abused women stay with their abusers ... because
somehow they think they are loved, or have rationalized it out in their
minds.

Did you even watch the movie? She DID go mental and tell them both to go straight to hell after that (in the Gold Mine tunnels.) I swear some people have no attention span here...

Yes, she got angry with them.....and then she seemed happy to let it go after that. All smiles and chums again shortly after. F#cking ridiculous.

My point about telling them to go to hell after their actions was that she should have told them that and not then just let it slide soon after.

Sorry if I wasn't plain enough for you.

It seemed to me that she was dialing it back so as not to risk ruining her relationship with Teiji. She was angry but didn't want to alienate him.
