I couldn't care less for any of the characters

It's amazing that none of the characters, except perhaps the victim's son (Miguel), looked like people I could sympathize with. They (under)developed the characters just to look suspicious and grab our interest developing theories, but the thing is that I couldn't care less for any of them and I watched up to the end because I didn't have anything better to watch on a Sunday evening. Usually I'd feel for the betrayed wife or the son of the accused for all they had been put through, but they seemed so artificial that it was hard to relate top them. And that court circus?! What was that? That defense attorney charged a fortune and didn't even bother to check on her client's background and why putting the wife to testify when he was under reasonable doubt? Just for the plot's sake. And why such good actors performed as if they had just graduated from Joey Tribbiani's soap opera acting classes? Those exaggerated looks and facial expressions with close ups for dramatic effects were so pathetic!

"And that court circus?! What was that?"

I have no clue.. The show started to loose me when the cops would just do random "interviews" with Grace. It really lost me with everything that went on in the court.

The defense lawyer giving testimony, the silly throwing up of pictures the extended debates with the witnesses. It was just such shit. The idiocy of Grace using the friend to feed information to the prosecution. It was just so bad.

I did like seeing the 30 Million dollar house they lived in and I can not even imagine how much the Father's house cost.

On a side note this is the second time that Sutherland has played Kiddman's father. They played Father and Daughter in Cold Mountain. I wonder if they did that in a third product.

It was an apartment.

But yes, a huge space like that with those high ceilings costs an insane amount of money in Manhattan. Although maybe somewhat less than we think considering that, I am guessing, he's had the apt for a long time.

It wasn't a condo?

Could have been, I am just saying it was an apartment, not a house.

What was wrong with Henry, though? I'd say he was completely genuine.
