She feels bad the town has to sacrifice people. Here is the one guy who can kill them and instead of saying "Kill the Bastards". She tries to have him killed. I know this is a silly movie about Chuck E Cheese gone crazy. But my suspension of disbelief only goes so far.

Ehh, but she didn't think he could kill Willy.
Remember, Willy had the power to dismember you with one swipe. She assumed Willy would just be super pissed and take it on the townsfolk, and had no faith that Cage would be able to kill the Freddy Fazbear knockoff.
Keep in mind that she was almost right, and Willy did beat Cage in the first round of their fight, but Cage went and got his power-up drinks and beat the crap out of Willy.
But how would the townsfolks know that Cage could beat Willy when everyone else before him failed?
