Children's show but with murder

The casual killing is the only thing separating this show from the A-team or other shows from the eighties.

reply

Don't like it, too bad, then don't watch it.

reply

Nah, I like it. Like I liked the A-Team.

reply

Kids love violence. One of my favorite scenes in Star Wars was the arm getting cut off and the blood on the floor. Saw it in the theater at age 8.

reply

I wonder if you are a psycho to this day.

reply

Why would he be a psycho?

reply

it's a joke -_-

reply

Star Wars in general could be described as something (a rarity) which can be viewed and enjoyed both by children and adults. So obviously, violence can't be excessively graphic and scenes can't be overly disturbing. And we never get to find out whether Mandalorians are allowed to remove their armor for sex. 😎

This show is pure escapist fantasy. If you've ever seen a Star Wars movie before, you should've known more or less what to expect.

reply

so it's just impossible to get head from a sexy mandalorian with boobs armor???

reply

Well, maybe one of the regular Mandalorians who's allowed to take off her helmet.

reply

Star Wars was never really for children. Too violent. Only bad parents expose their kids to this.

reply

No bad parents shelter their little spawn from everything and then they grow up to be really fucked up.

reply

The ones really fucked up ie. active shooters, are the ones that were exposed to too much violence. Just goes to show how right wing the media is. Obsessed with violence but god forbid "boob armor". I mean the fact that you use the word "spawn" just shows how way out there you are.

reply

The really fucked up ones were born fucked up. I grew up with kids that played baseball with turtles and other incredibly barbaric things. Not a single one ended up shooting up school, offices or any other places. Kids go through a violent phase but the normal one learn empathy... the genetically fucked up don't ever learn empathy.

Cartoons were never for children. Too violent. Only bad parents expose their kids to this.

Remember?

reply

Yeah actually they were. They were shown as shorts to adult audiences before the feature films came on and replaced war news reals. Today they are replaced by trailers and advertisements. Gosh hipsters learn your history before you comment.

reply

Not sure what's your point. Cartoons were shown to adult audiences therefore they were for children???

How that makes any sense?

And yes, cartoons are full of violence ...

reply

as a fan of the old droids show, it was unnerving to see people i know who turn their nose when it is mentioned liking the mandalorian so much. because it is basically just that, a live action droids cartoon with murder. i guess they're big murder fans.

reply

Star Wars has "wars" in the title.

reply

Excellent observation and very true.

reply

Yep. And never was originally intended for children until Return of the Jedi came out. It was quite horrific for the time. Now people are shown being decapitated and burned alive on prime time tv. Shows like CSI show cadavers and things we would only see in magazines like Fangora in the back of the book store in the 80s. It's no wonder that public shootings have gotten to an all time high in the past 4 years.

reply

Crime rates have been falling for decades (until this past year). I blame the Internet and violent video games, for keeping the bad guys off the streets.

reply

Kinda like Bambi, The Lion King, and Coco

reply

forgot finding nemo ;)

reply

Yes take out the adult stuff from any show and then act surprised that it has no adult stuff in it...?
