Baby Yoda > Rey
One is likable the other isn’t, one is a Mary Sue the other isn’t, one is a know it all the other isn’t

shareRey at the Disney parks is very friendly, very approachable, and and fantastic with kids. She is better than Rey in the movies. Watch some youtube vids to judge for yourself. I met her!
Baby Yoda... still no plush toys yet. Hm. The ONE toy everyone wants, and it is nowhere to be found.
I’m talking about within the context of their respective mediums, not their merchandising
shareOh I agree. Rey’s development in the movies is problematic, to be polite. But there is potential that a future depiction of her in a TV show or movie could rectify this. Clone wars show did wonders for the prequels.
shareYes she was a poorly written character and it’s amazing that a character who never talks has more development than she does. Do you think her character will exist in any further film going forward?
shareYou never know! At this time, very unlikely. But given the prism of time and hindsight, Disney in the future might consider revisiting her.
After all, if Han Solo can appear in 2 sequel films, why not a future Rey?
It is much more likely that a cartoon version may appear in some TV show to fill in the gaps and make her a more well-rounded character
rey sucks
shareMaybe if she was likable I’d forgive her Mary Sueness but she isn’t, she’s an obnoxious know it all
shareI liked Rey. You guys are too damn nitpicky and close minded. Especially when Star Wars has been doing this shit since 1980...
shareYes we are closed minded when it comes to over powered and underwritten characters played by no talent actors. Also deflecting to another film doesn’t make Rey any better
shareDaisy Ridley is a delight to watch. If anything she was the best character in the sequels ..
shareLOLOLOLOL sorry you feel that way but Daisy Ridley is bland, emotionless actress and Rey is an overpowered/poorly written Mary Sue, BTW saying she's the best character in the sequels is like saying one piece of shit doesn't smell as bad as the one next to it.
