The mask never comes off...

Which means teeth cleaning and shaving are no longer a necessity? Now I understand why they say this series is geared toward 9-15 year olds. Gullible.

Did you spend 24 hours with the character that we don't know about?

Do you know he has teeth?, do you know he has body hair?.

The answer to both of them is = No

But more importantly, who the hell cares. Really, you wanna nitpick so badly about a good show that you gonna find this to complain about. If that is the case then you are no better than those idiots on twitter complaiing there is only 1 female character.

The audience isn't gullible, they just don't care about such a pointless thing.

It's pretty silly to take the most literal possible definition of "never". Clearly they do take off their helmets. Just not in public, in front of others. Children don't seem to wear anything over their heads so there must be a rite of passage at some point where they pledge themselves to follow The Way and receive their helmets and armor. Like a Mandalorian confirmation or bat mitzvah.

As adults they don't reveal their faces to anybody (except one assumes their mate). You can figure that stuff out with a little common sense. This is the kind of show that kids and adults can both enjoy because its plot is basically simple and straightforward. That doesn't mean they lead you by the nose connecting every last dot though. Gotta do some thinking!

Only a 12 year old would post such a pathetic troll! Most popular streaming show right now, will be in Imdb top 50 in 9 days.

Well keep watching it and stuff, O holier-than-thou one.

No, what I meant to say is......

....Ok boomer!

Update after episode 4: Well, well. Disregarding the fact that OP took “never” very literal, obviously our super astute critic over here spoke way too soon (and so sanctimoniously). This post = EPIC FORCE FAILURE! XD!!

reply

I had to laugh at the "ok boomer" remark. How did you know? Or maybe I must have mentioned it somewhere in another comment.....Either way, well said!

Mandalorians do actually take their masks off, but only in private and around family. This also means they eat and take care of personal hygiene in private as well. It's part of their culture.

At last, a civil response!!! Thank you for simple elucidation and happy thanksgiving!

You're welcome :). My brother's a huge fan of Mandalorians in the Star Wars universe, so I get to hear all about them from him.

reply

They touch on this in the last episode as well.
