Nothing new, but still, a nice pick me up flick
There is absolutely nothing really new in this film where a disabled boy wants to play baseball but is prohibited from doing so by his pastor father.
Really, we've all seen this sort of plot before - child with hurdles wants to succeed, but a strict father impedes his dreams, and so on.
Still, though, Quaid does a good job as the father, and the rest of the cast is good, too.
It is just one of those feel-good movies about overcoming hurdles and worth the viewing time.
