Review

Went to see this one with anticipation that it would be better than the previous as it was the last go-round. I'm going to give this one 7/10 and that's being generous.

First the effects. CGI is over-used and getting old. The dinosaurs looked great in some scenes where realism and live-action could be achieved. Otherwise the 1993 dinos look better than the ones used in this film.

Characters: The dynamic that was between Owen and Claire in the previous films is now gone. They're a loving couple taking care of a missing girl. BOORRING. Second, do we REALLY need another character like the pilot? She felt out of place considering her shady background. And her dialogue was cheese upon cheese.

Alan and Ellie: Let me start by saying that they missed the mark here. There could've and should've been SOMETHING to say between these two. There started to be in the cave, but then it just went away. Malcolm was easily the favorite here, but again, he is underused and comes off a bit like the chorus with nothing to really do.

The girl was, well, mkay and Dr. Woo was over-dramatic and under-used. The script was terrible.

Overall not that climactic for a series that should've gone extinct a long time ago.
