Tim spent an entire day running for his life away from dinosaurs and was probably traumatized from the experience, so I really doubt he'd choose paleontology as a career field.

More likely that even in his 40's, Tim wets himself whenever the Land before time is on TV.

Yes, that’s the real take on it. For the film’s sake, I thought they’d bring one or both of these characters back for one of the sequels. They were a big part of the success of the first film. They might also have inherited Jurassic Park from their grandpa. Maybe Tim could have come back fighting against the theme park and these dinosaurs.

I think the actress who played Lexi is now retired and the actor who played Tim, well, I didn't really need to see him in this.

The actor who played Tim (Joseph Mazzello) is still working. He was in The Social Network and Bohemian Rhapsody. I think you’re correct about the actress who played Lexi.

Anyway, I was talking about bringing back the characters as adults. They could have been played by different actors.

I know he's still working. That's why I said I didn't need to see him again. I saw him in The Social Network and wasn't that impressed.

As for recasting, I guess you could, but that would seem to be outside the spirit of this film, which brought back all the original actors (except for the actor who played Dodgson in JP, but he was a very small part of that film).

Dodgson was in the movie, just a different actor played him... The original actor was jailed for pedophilia...

Oh no they brought back Dodgson AND his Barbisol can.

Only instead of Cameron Thor playing Dodgson they hired Tim Cook of Apple.

(To be honest I recognized Dodgson’s name because of Wayne Knight repeating it but I was SURE it wasn’t Campbell Scott in the original role. Had no idea who Cameron Thor was before today)

Tim had a recent sex change and was working with Henry Wu on developing hybrid hermaphrodites dinos but was killed early on by one of the dinos due to her high pitched scream. Lexi also went under the knife and got a sex change and dated Tim for a bit until they split over differences on who screamed the best. He was later devoured a dino from Biosyn when he became a dino activist trying to free some of the dinos from containment only to have one of them turn on him due to the confusing hormonal scene he gave off.
