Humans living with dinosaurs?

I can't accept this. Humans would be extinct within a year if dinosaurs were still roaming the planet today. I read somewhere that back when dinosaurs actually existed, the human population was completely wiped out in 30 days or so. And it would take millions of years for humans to make a comeback after the dinosaur extinction 65 million years ago

I don't think enough fossil record exist now to say humans was extinct at some time. Land shift and land that was underwater before comes up. And land that was exposed goes underwater. Texas has been underwater twice since the dinosaurs. The Guadalupe Mountain range is really a prehistoric coral reef.

Is it possible that the dinosaurs ate all the human fossils?

reply

I'm just saying there isn't enough exposed prehistoric land to say that the limited amount of people back then went extinct.

reply

Oh ok. Got it

reply

As the continents shifted the food source changed. Large dinosaurs had less food so they went off on there on to find food instead of roaming in packs. The spend all there time looking for food and being by themselves left them to no longer breed enough to stay around. Smaller dinosaurs like humans needed less food and evolved with the changes to what we see now.

reply

Interesting. My college professor said it was a huge asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. He never mentioned anything about the continents moving

reply

That is just a theory to sell books. Granted there isn't enough prehistoric exposed land but I have never seen them say there is a layer of different soil that came from the explosion and covered the earth. We now have in the US a dust going around from africa that happens each year but not enough to cause plant and animal life to go away. The asteroid that could cause that would leave some kind of impact record.

reply

But there is proof that an asteroid wiped them out. They even located the iridium from the asteroid in the Earth's crust.

And that dust cloud is from the Sahara desert. And did you know that dust cloud from the Sahara is the biggest reason why there is an Amazon rainforest. The dust particles somehow nourish the rainforest. Otherwise the rainforest in South America never would have existed

reply

That also story says it is a theory.

reply

I'm in Fort Lauderdale so I am seeing the dust cloud over me

I'm not sure you know what "extinct" means. If humans went extinct in the past we would not be here today.

Also, since you seem to be a bit slow on the uptake, millsey is just joking/trolling. It seems to be what they do here.

reply

Dinosaurs are just beasts, they wouldn't venture into cities. Even if you were in the wild they would see you first and avoid you because they are not familiar with humans.

Ecologically it would be a disaster though.

reply

A neighbor on the street next to me had a crocodile in their front yard the other day. We live about a mile from the bayou. It did come up at night and was there in the morning though.Polar Bears come into towns all the time in Alaska when food gets low.

reply

Are you sure that dinosaurs would see a human and just run in the other direction? This logic goes against every movie I ever seen involving humans and dinosaurs

reply

Elephants, bulls don't do that. Go up on a wild bull elephant or bull and they will charge after you.

reply

Because at least the JP movies feature humans recklessly invadid the animals territory or purposely hurting them, in which case you could be in danger.

In The Lost World you see a mother looking for her son which is a more realistic scenario.

reply

Did you really just try to spell the word "invade" by typing invadid?

reply

invaded

reply

You probably didn't participate in any spelling bees while in school, right?

reply

No but I know a lot about dinosaurs.

reply

Is it true that the dinosaurs ate all the humans during their era including the human fossils to destroy the earliest evidence of mankinds existence?

reply

They were small size like small dinosaurs and wasn't affected as much with the food amount getting low. They like those small dinosaurs was able to live on and evolve and multiply to what you see on earth now.

LMAO
