So funny!

I was preparing myself for the subdued ‘humor’ of a kids movie and got that but more of a sarcastic angle that adults can laugh along with. The whole movie was really fun and relatable. The animation was excellent and so many new styles that I hadn’t seen done before. The COLORS! Every frame of this was like a color orgasm for the eyes.

If you pass over it because it’s a ‘family’ movie, you are missing out, I defy anyone to not relate to some character in this movie.

Best Netflix animation by FAR, they are always missing an important aspect to the story that makes them okayyy and enjoyable to watch maybe once, but this one, far surpasses anything they’ve put out before as an animated film.

This isn't a Netflix film – they only have the streaming rights. This is all Sony's work.

Technically Netflix didn’t do ‘any’ of their movies but Sony was hired to create this by Netflix so it became titled a Netflix film. Or am I wrong? I could be wrong, it happens.

It was originally supposed to be released by Sony Pictures in 2020, but it was put on hold, like everything else, due to COVID, so Sony sold the distribution rights to Netflix.

Oh cool, thanks for the info.

Agreed! I went into this blind, without having heard of this movie before and was totally unprepared for how beautifully animated and gut-bustingly hilarious it was from start to finish. It's now in my top 10 animated films
