Excellent & Inventive Sci-Fi
One of the best sci-fi films of the 2010s. The atmosphere, gear, and practical F/X all harken back to classics like Alien or The Thing. And the music by Daniel L.K. Caldwell was absolutely beautiful. Best score I've heard in a long time.
Sophie Thatcher as Cee has a toughness that resembles Emma Watson/Hermione and Pedro Pascal as Ezra has a formal manner of speech that gives the film a Western feel.
A sleeper gem that deserves a wider audience. Kudos to Christopher Caldwell and Zeke Earl for creating such a memorable film. They managed to make Washington's Olympic Peninsula feel like an entirely different world.
Food in Films: Always curious about what real foods production departments on space films use when a character chomps on something from a foil packet. In this case, looked like a power bar.
