I love Perdita as Higgins...
She's an incredible blend of poise, intelligence, flirtiness, and compassion/humanity, and she's hella easy on the eyes and ears, but then also the way Perdita plays the character like a master where every subtle move displays subtext rather than what she's actually saying. And she does it all with such natural ease. I'd never seen her in anything before, but after seeing this somewhat campy show, it's clear that she's a very talented actor.
Kudos to that casting director for taking a risk (genderswap), but sticking that landing like a pro! Kudos to Perdita for her fine work!
