I think Tom Selleck should guest star Robin Masters. I don't think he was revealed/seen on the original series.

I think it was intended that Orson Welles would eventually appear as Robin Masters but he died.

The only thing that can save the whole premise of this stupid show is if in the final episode it is revealed that Magnum (the REAL Magnum) has been writing a book about his own life and took some liberties with his own character and that of the late Jonathon Higgins. The whole series should be the fictionalized and updated exploits of an elderly Magnum all along. It could end with Magnum, Rick and TC talking about the whole thing and them shaking their heads at him for changing Higgins like that. Then you could see a copy of the book and have it revealed that Magnum has been using the Robin Masters pen name to write it.
With that said, I'd still rather watch my Magnum DVDs than this.
Actually it would make more sense if Rick or TC was writing the book as it would make more sense as to why they turned Higgins into a girl and made her Magnums love interest.
