Anybody else catch onto the fact that Nuzo, the friend who was murdered, was based on the character in the original series who was responsible for Mac's murder?

I think I remember that episode from the original. That's the one where Magnum said that line and then shot the bad guy dead, right? You didn't see that kind of cold blooded killing on TV series in those days.

Correct. That was Ivan (played by Bo Svenson), the mastermind. The Nuzo character was taken alive by NCIS.

Magnum killed him because he had Diplomatic Immunity and was just going to walk away.
