Watched an episode last night and it was just bad.The fake laugh track felt awkward because nothing was funny really.I didn't crack a smile once.Feel bad for Max Greenfield.He went from New girl to this.

shareI'm surprised by the bad reviews and low score. I just started watching and I'm laughing my head off. The characters are likeable and it's an enjoyable light comedy. Ratings are holding steady so I'm relieved it may be renewed.

shareI just read some reviews by critics and the public. Many feel the way you do about it not being funny. Others are offended by the racial humor. The show lead me to google if there's a difference between whites and blacks re: washcloth usage. Generally speaking there is. LOL.
shareI watch the show and like it. But there are some problems.
The kid is unnecessary. I like Cedric, but the chemistry between the 2 female leads
is much better and funnier than between the 2 male leads.
I agree that it's not really funny. For some reason I keep watching it every week and miss it when it's not on. I think it's because there is literally NOTHING even remotely good airing on mondays besides this.
shareI see tv spots for this dreck and just cringe. It's as though it's a parody of bad sitcoms. The jokes are simply so awful that it's like they're trying to be bad.
shareOh, please----the show is funny as heck, because it's African-American humor aimed at black folks----just because you didn't understand any of the jokes on there, dosen't mean it wasn't funny. It just wasn't funny to you, that's all. I enjoyed this show, because being black, I get where the humor is coming from. Anyway, the show just passed its fourth season, and it's still funny, despite whatever you trolls claimed about it.
shareI think while the show started out okay, it got stronger over the seasons. It's the kind of series you need to have some patience with. By the way, it is about to air season 6 and I have to say that the new writers they brought on in season 5 did a great job. 5 seasons in and the show keeps covering new ground.
