Seems promising after one episode
It's very rare that I run across a network TV show that strikes me as anything other than pure schlock, but after watching the first episode of The Fix I have a little hope that this one might turn out to be worth a shit.
The story (which essentially seems like a re-imagining of the OJ Simpson case) is interesting, the quality of the filmmaking seems above average for network television, and Robin Tunney--who I'm not sure I've even seen in anything since The Craft--seems to be a competent and somewhat charismatic lead.
I'm glad it's only a 10-episode limited series and they aren't going to drag it out for multiple seasons. Hopefully they can keep up the quality and momentum for nine more eps.
