Worth watching without coach Bombay?
He was the only good thing about the first season. So I’m guessing the answer is no, but figured I’d ask anyway.

shareI've stuck with it too long to give up now, but yeah it's pretty disappointing. They've also left out some characters from the first season with no explanation. In Episode 6, they teased the return of an original duck and then in Episode 7, nothing.
shareSeason 2 was a complete and total insult:
- First, in what I will admit was a pretty hilarious scene, when the Ducks first arrived at the came, Coach Cole is like “yeah um we didn’t mean to invite you, please leave”, but no they insist on staying because they will show them all that the Ducks have heart and can hang with the best of the best or whatever.
- Then the Ducks start complaining that this elite Hockey Camp isn’t fun enough, ummm it’s an elite Hockey Camp for a reason, the purpose is to learn how to be a better hockey player
- But actually it isn’t because early on they pick teams for some kind of tournament which basically amounts to a scrimmage.
- Of course Alex picks all of the Ducks so she has like the worst players and during a montage where we see all of the teams practicing the Ducks are prancing around in a field for some reason
- Then after getting clobbered the Ducks go to see the real Anaheim Mighty Ducks and they figure out their grand strategy: Just shoot knuckle pucks, ummmm OK
- So the tournament goes on and everyone starts complaining that this elite Hockey Camp is way too focused on Hockey and they just need to “have fun”. Ummmm being a good hockey player and winning is fun, getting your ass kicked isn’t fun. And I’ll reiterate the purpose of the camp is to be a better hockey player (allegedly), that is literally what these kids parents paid for.
- Then when everyone skips the final game in the tournament because it’s just too intense, we are now supposed to believe that it’s the right thing to go play in the lake instead of playing hockey which again was the purpose of the camp.
Also on a side note, when Coach T shows up because apparently the winner of the camp scrimmage plays Team Canada, he tells Alex that he got banned from coaching in Minnesota because he punched a locker (I may be wrong about that I only saw this shit once) and that it ruined his life or something. Ummm why would he tell her that?
Doesn’t that like give her a mental edge over him?
