For example, Liam Neeson will be 70 years old in a couple of years. That means that right now, he's more credible as an action hero than a female lead. Bob Odenkirk is 60 years old. He could still play the action hero during the next 20 years, and he'd be still more credible than a female lead.
Except when the female lead is Chinese and knows kungfu. Then she can beat anyone while flying and sommersaulting.
