I'mma take an axe.. it doesn't need ammo, and in the close quarters of a house you can charge at someone and double-tap.
Axe would be a terrible weapon. If you sneak up on someone and hit them from behind it is fine, but otherwise it is too bulky and slow to be that effective in close combat. A knife would be better, though personally I would rather just have a pistol. Yes it needs ammo but one would assume that as you are picking off the people after you that you could could be getting whatever weapons they had on them... and even with bullets you can still used it to beat the brains out of the target.
