My thoughts on movie (spoilers).

I didn't like the movie but that is more a personal preference than any big faults with the movie. The ending reminded me a little how I felt after watching Mother.

The actress who played the daughter did a good job portraying a disturbed young lady.

How can a family with someone who has a nut allergy would go anywhere without an epipen (at least stored in a kit you take with you in the car)? Especially when attending a party where food was being served and in rural area.

Don't know how anyone could go straight to bed after that accident (assuming shock and some mental health issues). The shot of the pole with the symbols before the accident must have indicated there was some supernatural influence the accident.

As the movie was progressing since the father didn't experience any supernatural events until the seance I was theorizing that the family had mental issues or sensitive to spiritual world inherited from mother's side (hence the movie's title).

I agree with the epipen!

I think the boy was in shock which is why, after the accident, he just went home and went to bed.

There definitely were mental health issues on the mother's side, she talked about them at the first meeting.

I kind of wish the ending would of went in a different direction.

The girl made the movie, & she was in it for only a short time. When she left I mentally sort of checked out. She was the most interesting thing about it.
