How long can they drag out solving the murder for?

How long can this unlikeable character be watchable?

The show didn't seem interesting to me from the little I've seen, but a lot of people still seem to like it.

Maybe it would work better as a miniseries or something.

Well, the murder is solved now, and the hook for the second season has been cast. I don't think I will be watching the second season (if it actually gets made). As you, I also find the main character very unlikeable.
