killing the kid who was about to transform into the new Wendigo after she killed the other one. Graham Greene said that you never really killed the Wendigo, it's soul will just search for someone new.

I suppose the brother was next in line because he was hurt by the creature. There was a connection.

Based on the rules of the Wendigo in this movie, yes she did. Which is a bit odd since Lucas was contaminated before her brother was. So it should be him that would transform first.
