This definitely should not win Best Picture and Driver should not win Best Actor.

I don't think it will win either of those categories although I'd be happy with a win for Driver.

Original Screenplay (although I'd prefer a win for Parasite) and Supporting Actress (Laura Dern) are probably its biggest chances.

Marriage Story is one of the best films of the year and Driver was excellent. It would be a deserving winner.

The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Ford vs Ferrari, Joker, Parasite, The Lighthouse, Jojo Rabbit, are all better.

Agreed! I thought this movie was okay. I don't know. Maybe it was the hype or the fact that I'm a family lawyer, but it wasn't as amazing as I was led to believe. The acting was good, but I feel Joker and Joaquin should win this year!

I think it’s pretty locked at this point. He’s overdue and he did Heath Ledger justice and made the character his own. Also, De Niro’s acting in the Irishman was good but not a breakthrough or anything he hasn’t done.

I hope you're right! Joaquin was phenomenal in "Joker." And you're right, he is definitely overdue to be recognized.

Yeah . . . I really do wonder what ppl found so amazing about it. But like I said, my work may have impacted my feelings.
