What was the deal with those assassins?
Why were so many of them sent after Roy? The dentist girl he goes out with, apparently was also involved and planted a tracking device in him, couldn't she finished the job right there?

shareI think in part it was made akin to a comic book story - like sin city. I thought it worked out quite well, if you treat it as such. That's why there were so many gags - it's not a super serious film.
shareWe could argue that just like Ventor said, they want to distant themself as far away as possible from his demise. It was the security head at the dentist.
But then again, using a very high tech tracker might backfire.
At the time they only wanted to track him. They only wanted to kill him when they decided to kill his wife. They used outside contractors to avoid attention to themselves. I think it is an open contract, which means whoever killed him would get paid.
The only weird thing is the helicopter and machine gun. I don't think any contract assassins use that, it has to be a mercenary outfit, that is way too high profile to kill even an experienced soldier.
Yeah, but was cool as hell :D
shareThis to me, you've just made me realise, is a bit of a plot flaw, but one I can overlook.
No one knew the device worked, not until they were about to die. So why was he such a target. And at such great expense.
Hmmm, don't do that again!!! lol
