Hire for skill/talent rather than skin color/gender/sexuality/ideology. Really that's what you'd need to at least have a starting chance at making something half decent. It's the absolute bare minimum, especially with a budget this massive.

The Nerdrotic guy on Youtube claims to have insider info that the show started out with actual Tolkien fans who wanted to make a respectful and accurate series...so I'd say bring them back and fire the retards who are currently in charge.
