No diversity in this please. No blacks or Asians, please.

They looked out of place in the Hobbit and it would ruin this if they went woke with diversity.

I disagree. Good fantasy takes full advantage of diversity. Look at Game of Thrones.

I basically agree with you that there's plenty of room for diversity in fantasy, and in fact that can make it even more fascinating & rich. But diversity was built into GoT, whereas LotR, not so much at all. That's my only caveat, wanting the adaptation to remain true to the vision of the author.

Logically, Numenor should have been a multi-ethnic, multi-racial society, like the modern USA and ancient Rome. The original population was made up of people from all the tribes of Beleriand, and the Numenoreans became the greatest seafarers in the history of Middle-Earth, and they conquered and traded wherever their ships went. As with ancient Rome, that would have meant that people from all over the known world would have come to Numenor, as spouses, servants or employees, immigrants, or to do business in Numenor where the action was. Armenelos would have been the "big apple" of the second age, the place where if you make it there, you can make it anywhere!

So all the real Tolkien geeks are damn well expecting diverse casting.

You're worried about diversity yet you don't realize that Tolkien's Middle-Earth is a fictional place with supernatural beings that are not even human. Even the humans in Middle-Earth are the same as real life humans.

Furthermore, Tolkien's legendary world is riddled with anachronistic foods, plants, and technologies that wouldn't exist without real world non-European sources (ie - Fireworks, Potatoes, Tomatoes, tobacco, maritime technology, etc.).
