i'm not qanon (whatever that is?) but how are you offended by a movie about getting kids out of sex slavery? do you not understand that sex slavery of children is bad and wrong? wondering about your perspective shown here.

Basically for those unaware, it is a conspiracy theory that accuses Democrat elites of being Satan worshipping pedophiles that eat children.
And I think the OP understands that child trafficking and sex slavery is gravely immoral and if the movie simply deals with condemning it and bringing more attention to it, great.
But the OP is not far off when they suggest there's a connection to QAnon since both Caviezel and Tim Ballard, the guy he's portraying onscreen, both endorsed this conspiracy theory which is just repackaged Pizzagate only meant to smear certain members of a political affiliation.
And Caviezel has been very open about his belief in QAnon so it wouldn't surprise me if the movie served as a rallying cry for fellow believers. Which by the way, includes 1 in 4 Republican voters.

My comment is that there appears to be people on the left who are sympathetic of them, hence why they are trying to change the name to MAP and pass it off as another letter in the acronym.

I certainly do NOT condone child trafficking and if the protagonist is rescuing children from paedo scum, all the better. I just think that QAnon is blowing the issue out of all proportion, and blaming ONLY Democrats and liberals for being the main instigators of such trafficking. I'm certain there are right-wing / MAGA / GOP paedos as well.
