Why do democrats and liberals hate this film ?
?
shareThey do? Most of what I have seen is ads praising it.
Liberal Variety Magazine likes it. https://variety.com/2023/film/reviews/sound-of-freedom-review-jim-caviezel-1235660035/
The "vile commies" at IMDB have allowed an 8.6 rating. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7599146/
The Guardian trashed the people associated with the film somewhat. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2023/jul/06/sound-of-freedom-movie-qanon-jim-caviezel
As did Jezibel. https://jezebel.com/sound-of-freedom-review-1850596160
I haven't seen the film. Child trafficking should be eradicated from the earth. My problem is with Jim Caviezel the person, though admit he's good (as an actor) in the Thin Red Line and other films. The issue I have is when he publicly came out against stem cell research and even appeared in political ads. There's nothing wrong with having religious convictions as we, the US, was founded on religious freedom. But when you try to impose your beliefs on the others, robing countless people of potentially life saving cures that's crossing a line.I have a chronic condition that could one day be cured from stem cell research. Jim C says no to that prospect. Fuck him. If he doesn't want a cure for some moral reasons then that's his choice. Don't ruin it for millions of other people.
shareAnyone who isn't a leftist pretty much has to ignore 95% of what actors say to even have a remote chance of enjoying a movie, so it's hard to be sympathetic here. I think the "First time?" meme is applicable.
Hell, this even applies to daily life as well. I had someone who worked in my office accuse me of being a racist for voting for Trump, but I discovered she was married to a man who was previously convicted of forcible rape of an 11-year-old girl. He then went on to serve prison time for injuring a child in a DUI accident. Someone voting for Trump should be the least of her worries, but this is the crap we deal with.
That's a good point.
shareSo it's okay for liberal actors to abuse their soap box but not conservatives??? Got it.
You do know where stem cells come from, right? Do you also understand why people of a certain belief system would have an issue with it?
So Jim Caviezel abused his soapbox? Liberals shouldn't do it either.
Yes I know where stem cells come from and have zero issues with them being used for medical research. Do not ruin my chance at a longer and healthier life because of your religion-based political opinion. "Stem cell research is the Devil!"
The problem with Jim Caviezel is that he is an extreme minority. The soapboxes are almost universally occupied by liberal fruit loops. No equal representation, because conservatives are not welcome in Hollyweird.
Well, some folks do have an issue with where stem cells come from. Their opinion and their vote are counted, just like yours. Believe it or not, there are people who believe in doing the right thing, especially when it hurts. The concept of ill-gotten gains seems to be foreign to you.
It's not foreign to me, it does not apply here. We should be working to end human suffering like we've always done. Penicillin, anti cancer drugs, vaccines...stem cell research derived cures (some already exist) would fit into this category. There's no valid moral argument, just selfishness and ignorant faith.
shareIt absolutely applies here. Penicillin, cancer drugs, vaccines, are not derived from dead babies. That kinda makes a difference to some folks. Yes, those folks tend to be "selfish" about their salvation. Those folks do not see the good in a little evil. The ignorance and selfishness are your own.
share"But when you try to impose your beliefs on the others" - just curious, how did he try that - I haven't followed the topic so I don't know? Does he even have the power to do that?
I hope you don't mean "by expressing his opinion" ...
But when you try to impose your beliefs on the [sic] others
No idea, because I've seen the film and there's nothing in it about the hollywood/washington elite pedophile rings.
Now THAT's a movie I'd love to see. In fact, it doesn't even connect the sex/child trafficking to the US, despite Ballard saying it in every interview since. Weak sauce.
I'd give this film 6.5/10 - it's OK, but nothing earth-shattering.
When conservatives hype up a film, they need to be aware that when the film doesn't live up to expectations, their future recommendations will be ignored. Mel Gibson cried when seeing this film? Methinks MG needs to take testosterone supplements.
"When conservatives hype up a film, they need to be aware that when the film doesn't live up to expectations, their future recommendations will be ignored."
Ha ha you just showed your ass, lame.
You may or may not have seen it. Who knows? This is an anonymous message board. Who cares?
You are just a partisan hack.
This is an important film. Hat's off to Jim Caviezel.
MAGA
lol
I am a conservative (but not religious).
I have seen it.
The hype was overdone - period.
When they start going after the hollywood/washington elite, I'll be fully on board.
There was talk of Mel Gibson making a 4-part documentary series where the hollywood elite pedophile rings will be exposed - that turned out to be BS. In fact, the 4 part series will be about more Tim Ballard's ventures outside of the US - considering that he worked for homeland security in exposing the pedo rings in the US, I find it odd that this part of his life is not being explored, since that would indeed focus on the local pedo rings, including the elites. Also, Mel Gibson is not involved - lol
Basically, this is fucked up. I'll wait for the conservatives to go after the hollywood/washington elite once and for all, but I'm also aware the low odds of that happening. Instead, they focus on hyping up films which 'expose' pedo rings in Colombia - great job, idiots.
It's a movie about taking down child trafficking pedophiles...
I think you already know the answer as to why they hate it.
This.
I still remember how when people said authorities needed to look into Pizzagate and do a proper investigation, the media came out like a maelstrom and claimed anyone even remotely talking about it was a conspiracy theorists and that it was a "debunked" conspiracy theory because... reasons?
Even if you didn't care about it, the media hoopla shutting down anyone remotely looking into it make it look all the more suspicious. Also, the fact that after those Twitter hackers discovered the 20,000 pedos operating across Twitter, and started linking names found in the Jon Podesta e-mails, they had that shut down so quickly! The day that discovery was made Reddit outright nuked the Pizzagate sub and any adjacent subs and sadly the whole thing sputtered out.
I was curious what the diggers found regarding the names in the e-mail list and the real-names associated with the Twitter accounts operating those child trafficking rings, but sadly now that's all lost to time.
Another thread on here frames those who are vehemently against sick child trafficking pedophiles as trolling anti-semites, cough cough that's definitely saying the quiet part out loud LOL
Totally not worth noticing all of the piled up cohen-cidences goyim... Epstein, Maxwell, oy vey

I don't get it. Human trafficking is a very real problem but liberal critics are dismissing it as root in Qanon conspiracy theories. Why?
Yeah, why??
shareIt's pretty obvious.
shareI haven't seen it yet but my best guess is the film seems to be against human trafficking and the left loves human trafficking, at least they do at our Southern Border, and it probably doesn't give them the woke agenda they want. Unless they are being pandered to they pitch a fit, they are very insecure people.
shareBecause the Democrat party leadership promotes child rape and murder. Their lemmings will support whatever they’re told.
It’s pretty simple.
