S5 E4 "The Choice" [spoilers]
A few thing bugged me in this episode.
Firstly, that plan (to capture Bailey) was quite bad. It was error prone and hinged on a lot of luck for it to succeed.
For example, what if someone else fell in? What if she fell in "half way", like one leg, or even if no one fell in at all? Either of those variants would've spurred tons of questions. Maybe not immediately connecting it to Rosalind but it would at least lead to the builder.
On the other hand, maybe this was just one of a dozen other traps she set up and we just saw the one that succeeded.
Secondly, they knew for several hours that there would be fire and Bailey would need to hold her breath. Why not bring some bad-ass fire extinguishers (and don't wait until using them)? And after
they put the fire out, why couldn't Bailey just come up? (forgot if she already passed out by now, maybe that's why they waited with the extinguishers to "allow" her to pass out...)
And if the water rose above the grating, how about using like a breathing tube through it? The gaps seemed quite big. Then they would've had all the time in the world to cut the grate and she would be in no danger.
