Nothing really makes sense... there's no rhyme or reason to the magic system. nothing seems to be solved by her own cleverness or something learned earlier, so much as a magic deus ex machine charm or something.
how do you stop a sleep demon? well you.... somehow twiddle your fingers in some string and claim its a dream catcher.....um okay....
I tried watching this but just stopped cause I couldn't stand how satanic it was. I can watch other horror movies like Nightmare on Elm Street and the Friday the 13th movies but I couldn't stand watching this. I prefer the 90s sitcom. Well, the firs 3 seasons of it anyway. After that it wasn't very good.
shareI get the satanic aspect. I liked that the devil was real. overall it all looked promising.. but nothings really fleshed out or makes sense.. things just happen cause... they happen. I wanted like a Harry Potter level of sense to the magic..
one example is so they can take away their powers and dealing but they won't take away Sabrinas when she refuses to sign it...
or the headmaster giving her that device to solve so she can take a conjuration class... the device was all about psychological strength and a mental puzzle. why the hell would your ability to solve it let you show you re strong enough for conjuration? made no damn sense.
its like giving someone a math test to let them into university for history.
also I just saw a part where Sabrinas cat tells her cousin she is in trouble when she's astroprojecting.. but it was well established before that peoples animals can't talk to other people...
