Not the reboot we asked for but...
Definitely the reboot we secretly wanted and will thoroughly enjoy! I'm only on the 3rd episode but I love it!
What do y'all think?
I think the biggest problem I see isn't with the direction they took it but with the casting of Sabrina. I didn't like her in Mad Men and I probably like her even less in this show. Biggest issue is with her age. She looks older than 16 (because she is) and more than likely she will age even more over the next year or so which really kind of puts a damper on how long this show can last. Not sue why they didn't find an older actress that was finish growing but still looked the right age, then you could make the show last as long as it could.
shareI agree and I would love to ask who you would prefer in this role? I know Emma Watson is already a witch in the Harry Potter series and that role will hold up to the tests of Hollywood's time(unless they remake Harry Potter, which I for one never want to see happen) but I think she would be great. The girl they have cast seems unnatural, maybe bad acting... Who knows?
Also how do you feel about the treatment of silent Salem and Ambrose. Love the witty banter but Salem should have been the one on house arrest for trying to blow stuff up. I digress... Opinions?

She looks exactly 16.
shareYeah, she's like 18/19 in reality now and definitely has that baby face/young adult combo of a typical 16 year old.
I don't think she looks older than 16 either
Of all the issues one may have I don't see how that is one of them especially considering all the shows with 20-something teenager cast.
