At the end of the day
it's just another Hollywood biopic. It's good and Renee Zellweger is very good and I cannot deny a tear or two at the end. But I don't think this film will be particularly remembered in years to come and I don't think it was as good as Stan and Ollie which didn't get the publicity this film has.
Sidenote: Interesting to see Bernard Delfont featuring so prominently in both. I'm old enough to remember the name but not the shows and I'm assuming most of the audience have no idea who he is.
