Why would a tiny, backwater village be multiracial?

Multiracial villages/cities are a part of globalization in our modern society, and even then they aren't as diverse as that little village at the start of this series. Does a village like that make sense in the world that they're trying to bring to life onscreen? How does a multiracial village like that happen in this fantasy world?

multiracial audience!

Yes, I get that's why they did it, but does it make sense to do that in the context of the world that they're trying to create?

The Left likes to say that stories should reflect reality, but when you criticize it for not being realistic or making sense from a narrative perspective, they'll say "lol it's a fantasy, it's not real, calm down."

Not only are they hypocritical, but to them "fantasy" means no logic or consistency.

That’s a good answer. Bravo.

The silly thing was that in the show Moiraine says that in The Two Rivers " the blood runs deep " which would imply that the place has been genetically stable and largely racially unmixed for a long time. Yet the villagers were a mini United Nations. So stupid.
