Cancelled

Bleeding typical. The only program last year where I actually looked forward to the next episode so of course - cancelled. Not terribly surprised because even though I liked the slow build start that is not the kind of approach that grabs audience share and that's what it's all about..
Very much reminded of Defying Gravity from several years ago that was similarly slow to build but was also effectively sabotaged by the network with it's misrepresentation as Grey's Anatomy in Space - something that, combined with the stupidity if the TV Critics, still annoys me.

It was terrible ...

Well I thought the cast was great and the story, as far as it got, was interesting. I was looking forward to space - actually, sudden thought, maybe the expense of space scenes is a reason they gave up so quickly?

Sean Penn was all over this series like the plague. It could have been interesting, it had potential, I'll give you that. That was the only reason I kept watching it ... I kept thinking it might get better, which actually made me dislike it more when it wasn't.

I enjoyed it and thought it was interesting, but it was also slow and dour and grew less interesting as it went in.

I'm glad I watched the season but I don't really feel like I need a second.
