Seemed to lack direction
It just roamed around, following the everyday lives of these people. There was no beginning, middle, or end to this movie.
Still,, I rather liked it. Could've been so much better.
The beginning was how Arvin & Lenora became orphans and then step-siblings.
The middle is their lives as teens/young adults wherein Arvin is established as Lenora's righteous protector.
The ending is Arvin being presumably used as an instrument of divine wrath against (1) the abusive minister, (2) the criminal couple and (3) the corrupt cop, plus the hopeful aftermath.
