Spike Lee's highest grossing movie is WW $184 Million, (Inside Man $45 Million Budget) and Denzel Washington might have been the driving force behind that box office success. On a medium-sized budget he still manages to make a profit for the studio. Blackkansman will come in under that and probably won't be extensively marketed outside of the USA regardless of it's Cannes acclaim.

$15 Million Opening
$75 Million Domestic
$140 Million WW

It had a $10.8 Million dollar domestic opening which was unfortunate but on a budget of $15 Million will do fine. It will not make $75 Million domestic as well as won't get close to a $140 Million WW.

Too bad. This really is an entertaining and well crafted film regardless of politics.
