Episodes 1 & 2 True East

I just saw "True East Parts 1&2 on NetFlix. It was fascinating and
very interesting to see how difficult it is to collect, process and apply
evidence of crimes to a case. If two teenage miscreants can figure
out how to murder on their families so easily, think about what kind
of crime must go on in the world that doesn't get caught and convicted.
It makes some sense now how the government feels it needs to
surveil everyone just in case they commit a crime.

I am aware that this is less then 2 hours of information on a case that
was years and years old, but my opinion is that the two boys did it.

Going back the 911 call, it made no sense. And these kids were so
stupid to fall into the romance with crime and put all their cards in
with the fake Mr. Big organization. It says to me that when they had
time to work together and think up a premeditated plan they were
very effecting, but when it came to playing the part in real life, as
in determining if Mr, Big was for real, or making the 911 phone call,
or even their closing statements at the trial, they had no idea how
to behave like real normal people.

I wondered why the two kids acted so strange to the police, why
they fled to Canada. Why they played around in front of the
memorial service for the family they murdered. None of it added
up to innocence, and the idea that someone in their Mosque would
murder the whole family because the father wanted to align the
prayer mats slightly to point to Mecca is absurd.

These two were guilty, two stupid defective children that were
psychopathic enough to murder one of their own families. I am
glad they are both behind bars, but sad that neither of them will
even get what it is to live a normal life because they let their lives
be rotted and turned to evil by pursuing money at the expense of
killing their families for insurance money.

The father disgusted me, but what else can he say? Why he could
not convince his son to admit what they did and throw themselves
on the mercy of the court? Maybe he tried and is not telling the
whole story in the movie.

But the wife, or any woman who would marry a criminal in prison
really baffles me. I think the con game the Canadian Mounted Police
pulled on these kids was brilliant, and it showed that they were
completely stupid kids living in a fantasy world.

Glad these two have been put away for life with no possibility of
parole.
