Ummm, very unappealing title. WTF?
why would I wnt to watch a movie with that title? lmao
It doesnt even sound like a movie title. Sounds like a NYT article of marital infidelity lol

Summary even more of a turn off, for me anyway
"A fashion model celebrity couple join an eventful cruise for the super-rich."
I don't care about the title so much as the apparent gross-out marketing.
shareThe title is explained early in the film, it has little to do with the actual plot.
Not sure I completely understand why the title would turn you off anyway. Did you boycott the film Misery for the same reasons?
Well, historically titles are chosen as a marketing tool, to sell the movie. Often they are irrelevant to the plot or content.
You are correct I have not seen misery, but not because of the title, ; because I dont care for King and also that leg breaking scene.
I stand by my post, that this title sux.
What King novels have you read?
shareI dont recall. Why?
shareJust always like to know what novels people have read when they claim to not care for King. Usually the answer is 0 and they’re basing it on movies based on his works that have nothing to do with him.
shareBut this is a movie board, and all my posts are about movies, so not sure why you bring up novels?
And for that matter not sure why the other guy brought up misery either, lol.
Haha, fair, but as a hardcore King fan it always irks me when people say they don't like him but have never read anything he's actually written. I guess I would prefer if people said "I don't like movies based on King's novels" :P
share"" I guess I would prefer if people said "I don't like movies based on King's novels"""
ummm, I think I already did say that:
"But this is a movie board, and all my posts are about movies, so not sure why you bring up novels?"
But, do i have to actually read king to know he is not to my tastes?
Definitely. You sound like that old lady in the grocery store who approached King and said he should be ashamed of his work, and that he should write nice stories "like that Shawshank Redemption."
shareno, i don't. i can spot signs that his content is not to my tastes.
Lol, woah! I thought we were being playful here, what the heck! You literally asked me a question and I answered it, how is that sticking my nose where it doesn't belong?! You also posted this to a public forum; if you didn't want any feedback, why would you ask it in the first place?!
--I don't recall calling you ignorant
--You seem to be the literal version of the "Don't judge a book by its cover" warning. If you don't want to watch a movie because its title sounds sad, then just don't watch that movie I guess. Why subject us all to your nonsense?
you likened me to the lady who suggested he write shawshank, but who was unaware he wrote it already.
that was pretty demeaning. and yeah, i was being quite amicable until i saw that line about the old lady. so that's on you. don't try to turn it around.
