Is he the Joker or isnt he? Coz I saw some other person kill Batmans parents - was that the REAL Joker?

Of course he is. It's only in the 1989 movie by Tim Burton that the Joker killed his parents. The Joker has nothing to do with Bruce's parents. Not even in the comic books.

Correct. He never knows who killed his parents which creates his obsession.

Batman is just as mentally ill as Joker. Just different behavior. Batman is basically a criminal as well by assaulting people for stealing a pack of gum (exaggeration).

Its a retelling of the Jokers story. Just like there are so many Batman and Spiderman reboots/remakes/retells-this is a Joker retelling.

I think a lot of lure is that it’s not clear what happened in his mind and what has actually happened! To me that was the joker telling a doctor a story of how he became the joker but like ledgers scars stories who knows what of it was real or not. Could also explain the time line issues in that he could have been caught and put there by batman and we are seeing an older jokers retelling and so he was actually a lot younger at the time so closer in age to batman I don’t know people have taken different things from it
