Great Joker, boring movie
Nothing ever happens in the movie. u could easily compact the movie into a 5min highlight and not lose anything.

shareI agree, though it seems we are very much in the minority.
shareI personally didn't mind the slow pacing, but yes it was slow.
shareI wasn't bored for a single second, too busy studying all the set details, the nuances of his portrayal, scene framing choices, music, and camerawork; this movie is the opposite of boring.
shareCouldn't agree more
shareMay be a factor of your age. I am old enough to remember New York City in the 70's and 80's and Asside from making a game of mistakes they made it really was too long.
Would have been nice if they had actually fleshed out the possibility of Thomas Wayne boinking Arthur's mom and then having her committed and discredited to avoid accepting responsibility for being Arthur's father... At least if they had gone down that road it would have made more sense as to the strong connect the Joke seems to have with Batman... Instead they wrap up that story in about 3 minutes and brush it off as Arthur's mom just being a nut case.
I agree. The movie had definite flaws here and there but it was never ever boring for me.
shareThis movie requires an actual attention span.
shareI don't think we watched the same movie.
shareTrue, the trailer was half the movie.
