Kinda new,
Making so much money at box office for 3 reasons...

1. Has Batman/Superhero relation.
2. Phenominal acing performance by Phoenix.
3. The character of Joker has been attractive for so long, and we finally got a brutally honest origin... and it was sad, bizzare, and ultimately scary

5. Many were just glad that they didn't greenlight the Leto's Joker movie.

Leto's was fun for a couple hours.. but never captured the Joker.

Yeah. Some of them are already in their '20s/30s/40s and still waiting.
