No however an equal would be good, in that another film is set in the same timeframe as Joker, which would be a Ratcatcher film picking up on the giant rats in Gotham part that was on the news in this film.

Would love to see Ratcatcher around while Arthur/Joker was going through what he did in this film so we see the same Gotham from another perspective. A giant rat even went past while Arthur/Joker was in the phone booth (when he was smashing his head on the glass), so they could replicate that footage even if done from a distance. So basically I'm saying a Ratcatcher film interlocks with Joker like how the stories in Do The Right Thing or Pulp Fiction or Short Cuts (which The Simpsons episode 22 Short Films About Springfield was a take off of) interlock.

Think it would be interesting to have two separate films interlocking that also play out as separate entities, however with Ratcatcher set to be in Suicide Squad 2 it is highly unlikely...but I want it dammit.

Edit: Actually Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane work like that, as in separate films and stories that come together as happening simultaneously.
