Gary Glitter Convicted Pedophile
Biggest and only issue I had with the film. not even the NFL use his song anymore. Why would they use this? it was so misplaced too could have used a 100 other tracks

shareGary Glitter is a sad piece of shit but the music was used for less than 30 seconds without his vocals, it would be easy to replace that music, the music didn’t really add to the scene anyhow. But the outrage from the UK media over it was way over the top.
I’d rather they use Punk or New Wave, something more fitting with the time period, I’ve no idea why it was supposed to be 1981 btw.
You don't know why they used 1980-81 as a setting? It works a lot better for any crime film. NYC was much seedier, dirtier, and more dangerous. It would have been harder for the police to track a killer. Less security. Less awareness of mental health issues. The sudden budget cuts were more believable, ect.
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your statement?
It was Gotham not NYC, but yes any period before smartphones and the internet is usually better for suspense but Dark Knight made good use of phones.
I never knew this guys name. I only remember the song from sports
shareI think it's a great song... If it were a Michael Jackson would you be saying the same, I seriously doubt it and MJ fuc*ed kids, Glitter did not.
shareWho gives a crap (movie-wise)?
Take it up in any other venue (maybe legally?)
The movie was perfect.
