What same idea? Other than being an origin story they share no similarities. Joker at least shows the descent from normalcy to the subject at hand. Halloween was just showing, from the opening shot forward, violent shit Michael did.

Zombi's movies can be fun to watch if you're really in the right mood (Texas Chainsaw kinda mood).

To even compare his (especially that) movies to this is absurd.

Halloween did not need an origin story... it ruined the character!
