Not very good, but not really terrible.

Whoa! Too many fantastic happenings pushed into the pilot. The whole thing was overstuffed. That often happens with pilots, but for me to stick with it, the show will have to calm down and tack toward the more realistic.

Also, why do so many shows have an obnoxious punk-**s character? I could do without that particular stereotype. Not to mention, in this case, if they wanted to redeem the guy he could've well been suspended as a sex addict and sent to counseling. Even more so because his alcoholic boss should know when he sees addiction even if it's not liquor.

Outside of the punk, I like the cast quite a bit. Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Connie Britton all can turn in quality performances regularly. I guess that's enough for me to give it some more time.

it did seem a bit crowded story-wise with too many "high profile cases" in the first 40 minutes of the show I'm sure they will tone it down and work on the main characters backstory a bit more.

"Not very good, but not really terrible" I guess sums up how I felt about the pilot as well.

I had been looking forward to the show because the trailer looked good, but there just wasn't enough of interest there to hold my attention. I actually am a little surprised to hear that it's been renewed.
