I watch but am not a hardcore fan. I know they had someone from Cobra Kai that starred in the first film that was sick. Come to think of it I think he may have passed. Yes RIP
shareRob Garrison, who played Tommy in the original. He had kidney and liver failure and died a little over a year the show debuted. That may be who you're referring to.
As for Dutch, you never know. He died just under two months ago and most if not all of Season 6 had to been filmed before that, so he COULD have had an opportunity to come back. If not, it's no biggie. We don't really need to see EVERYONE return. Be thankful we got back the people who did who were major or supporting in some way. The one character we DO need to see make an appearance is Julie Pierce since she's the main link to Part 4 and was another of Miyagi's students. The only connection we have to that movie is the retconned name he went by there the show recently made of this season (that's now established to have been a fake one).
I'd like to see that mailman return from part 2, who gave Mayagi the letter about his father being very sick. It was so disrespectful the way he pronounced Mr Mayagis.
