But if you're a martial arts athlete in training, you'll be making efforts to diet and exercise to be leaner.

was a martial artist in training. But up till I was 25, I had been trying to
gain weight, because my body kept burning up everything I put into it. Then suddenly my metabolism changed, and I started gaining quickly. Since my habits at that point had been focused on
gaining as much as possible, it was very difficult to adjust. And adjusting always takes time, because obviously the only indication I had that my metabolism had changed was the fact that I started gaining weight.
