I just watched the original Karate Kid for the first time in a few years after recently watching all 3 seasons of Cobra Kai. I forgot how important Dutch is in the first movie, probably since they barely mention him in Cobra Kai. It would be cool to have Dutch get out of prison in Cobra Kai and maybe have Kreese use him to fight Johnny and Daniel. Even if the original actor can’t return, they at least could have the character back played by a different actor.

That's why Kreese is so dedicated watching out for her and keeping her around. Dutch had a legit nasty streak to him, even more than Johnny. He was the only original CK who didn't try to pull Kreese off of Johnny at the start of part 2. He even turned his back to them. Wouldn't surprise me if he was the only one who stayed with Kreese after the All Valley Tournament. Perhaps Dutch started teaching Tory karate when she was young, and she also inherited his mean streak.
