Obviously at least one of Tory's parents will be somebody we know from the movies. The fact that they didn't show her mother and haven't said anything about her father make this a certainty for one of them, if not both. Here and the candidates.

Terry Silver: Would make sense with her ruthless streak, and karate ability. But he's insanely wealthy, so it seems unlikely that he would not have done anything to take care of his kids, in particular a son. And we know he's going to be involved in the next season.

Mike Barnes: Also possible and more likely than Silver due to the age and poverty. Maybe he had a similar post tournament life as Johnny did.

Kreese: Not very likely, but still possible.

Hillary Swank's character from NKK: Never saw the movie, and know nothing about it. But they got Shue to come back, why not Swank, and playing a dying mother with a troubled daughter might be an inticing role for her.

Finally, while all of those could work, the person I think it will be...

DUTCH
He was mentioned by the old CK crew, and said that he's in jail for a lengthy sentence. That would explain why he's hasn't been around and why his family in such bad shape. Also unlike the other guys Dutch had much more of a mean streak to him, which Tory possesses. And just like with the LaRusso's, the father taught his young daughter karate, before being sent away.

Maybe he is an insider or a disgruntled former employee and has access to this kind of info. Who knows who he is

Well we can take Mike Barnes off the list.

And most likely it's not Silver.

I forgot to add Jessica from part 3 as a possible mother, but we can rule that out.

Tory showed up at Cobra Kai already knowing karate. So, it would make sense that her mom is Julie Pearce from the next Karate Kid.

Actually it was kickboxing which is why when she enters she says something like " But does it actually work in a fight?"

I would love to see some big cross over with Rey being Torys sister, which also means Tory is a Palpatine. I'd like future seasons to be more sci fi oriented
